Yoon Si Yoon had nothing but good things to say about his 'Prime Minister and I' co-star Girls' Generation's YoonA.

He also compared Girls' Generation to H.O.T, explaining, "Girls' Generation already made a mark in history. Like H.O.T, aren't they a group that has a lot of buzz? I hope YoonA enjoys it to the fullest. Because YoonA comes on, I will monitor her well and cheer her on!"

KBS to no longer broadcast any of H.O.T's songs due to Tony An's gambling controversy

In December, it was decided that Tony An would have a probationary period of one year during which he has to avoid all criminal charges in order to avoid a 6-month jail sentence for illegal gambling.  Subsequently, one of Korea's biggest broadcasting stations KBS has decided to ban all of Tony An's songs, which include songs from the legendary group H.O.T.

KBS revealed to news outlets Sports Seoul and Star News on February 13, "On December 3, 2013, all of H.O.T's songs such as 'Candy' and 'Warrior's Descendant' were deemed unqualified for broadcast and have been classified as banned songs."  According to KBS, this decision, as well as similar decisions, was based on a clause to stop his show appearances as well as broadcasts of images and music that may result in compensation of Tony An, who they believe is shedding a negative light in society for his recent illegal gambling scandal.

(Old News) Tasty Dreamed of Becoming Singers After Watching H.O.T.’s Performance Video

Tasty members revealed the moment they decided to become singers.

January 2’s broadcast of SBS Power FM’s Cultwo Show featured Tasty and Secret as special guests.

During the show, DJ Cultwo asked Tasty what motivated them to become singers.

“When we watched H.O.T’s performance video when we were seven years old, that’s when we decided to become singers” responded Tasty.

“Our friend owned H.O.T’s performance video,” continued Tasty. “After watching the performance, we came to live with our mom in Korea and went around for auditions.”

(Old news) Lady Jane’s Fangirl Fantasy Fell Apart When She Met H.O.T’s Tony

 

 As a huge H.O.T fan in the past, Lady Jane shared a moment when the fantasy she built of her idol oppa broke down completely.

On October 23, Lady Jane appeared as a guest on MBC’s Radio Star, where she talked about meeting Tony An in person.

“I was having a house party, and I heard Tony was coming. I was a huge fan for a very long time, so I was really excited to see him in person before I died,” explained Lady Jane.

But then the fantasy about her idol started to break down one by one.

“He became really drunk at one point and said he wanted to eat ramen. So I made him ramen, but because he was so drunk, he couldn’t even eat it properly,” said Lady Jane. “The noodles never made it into his mouth but just kept slipping out. As I was seeing this, I thought, ‘So oppa was also a human being.’”
