Jang Woo Hyuk prepares a thoughtful gift for delivery man

Singer Jang Woo Hyuk‘s thoughtful nature was noticed by a lucky delivery man.
The photo above (right) surfaced on the homepage of a lunchbox company on June 19th with the message: “Last
week as we made our first delivery, singer Jang Woo Hyuk presented our
delivery man with quite an unexpected gift. Jang Woo Hyuk had placed an
autographed CD in the bag the delivery man was bringing back with him,
and hung it on the door knob. A box of red ginseng drink was also placed
next to it on the floor. Our delivery guy was so touched, he took a
picture and sent it to us early in the morning. We are extremely
touched.”
Jang Woo Hyuk has been known to take care of those around him. The news only further touched the hearts of H.O.T fans as former member Kangta also recently gifted his delivery man with a bowl of pasta he had personally made.
Fans responded, “He’s so kind, that warms my heart,” “The epitome of friendly,” “Sensible celebrity,” and more.
In related news, Jang Woo Hyuk received a positive response in China for his recently concluded drama series, ‘Secret Angel‘.

Kangta to attend the 15th ‘Shanghai International Film Festival’

On June 15th, SM Entertainment revealed that soloist Kangta will be participating in the ‘Shanghai International Film Festival‘ on June 16th.
In its 15th year, the festival is one of the most influential film
festivals in all of Asia. Kang Ta will be participating in promotion of
his Chinese movie, ‘Secret Garden‘. Fans can expect to see him on the red carpet, opening events, and various interviews.
‘Secret Garden’ is the film version of Korea’s hit drama of the same
name and will be the production of New Zealand production team ‘Two Dragons‘ and Hollywood’s ‘WETA Digital‘, who is responsible for hits like ‘Avatar‘ and ‘Lord of the Ring‘.

Tony An overcomes possible elimination on ‘Dancing with the Stars 2′

A few months ago, Tony An expressed that he felt burdened by Moon Hee Jun‘s
dancing skills. Recently, however, he revealed that Moon Hee Jun’s
encouragement played a great role in helping him conquer the potential
of being eliminated on ‘Dancing with the Stars 2′.
On June 13th, Tony An stated on his Twitter, “Last week I
experienced the danger of elimination, and now, I’m [putting my all]
into practicing in order to survive. Hee Jun visited during practice and
gave me a lot of advice as well, thank you Hee Jun~! And so, I will try
my hardest in order to improve. I can’t play around and have fun as
much anymore. I will do my best!”
On June 8th, Tony An danced to a track from the OST of the movie ‘Dirty Dancing’,
showing a passionate samba performance on the program. Although he
successfully pulled off a difficult lift move, his poor condition led to
a less-than-ideal performance. His facial expressions were cited as a
concern among other flaws, and he ended up almost being eliminated.
Netizens commented on Tony An’s situation, saying, “But the samba stage was really cool,” “Now [we really get to see] the ability of the remaining participants,” “Have strength,” “But [he did] the ‘lifting’ movement well, and [I thought he did] okay,” “Tony An, hwaiting,” “It’s nice to see [Tony An and Hee Jun's] friendship,” and “His resolution is impressive.”

Kangta worries he’ll end up unmarried like Shin Seung Hoon

On the June 4th episode of tvN‘s ‘Baek Ji Yeon’s People Inside‘, Kangta grabbed the attention of viewers by revealing that he’s worried about marriage.
Kangta confessed, “Because of my busy schedule, I have no time to date. I don’t even have time to properly sleep.” When asked, “Wouldn’t singer Shin Seung Hoon who is also single be of encouragement to you?” Kangta replied, “By observing Shin Seung Hoon, rather than feeling encouraged, I get scared.”
He continued, “Looking at hyung (Shin Seung Hoon), I always
think, ‘I can’t become like him.’ I am closer [to the age I should be
worried about marriage] now. We drank together, and I told him that I
didn’t want to become like him. He replied that I should say [something
like that] after I try setting him up with someone.”
“Shin Seung Hoon, Kim Min Jong, and I all have the same concern.
We usually hang together like three brothers. I think Kim Ming Jong is
secretly dating behind our backs lately, but I have no confirmation of
this yet. Shin Seung Hoon hyung is someone who really doesn’t have a
life outside of his work. Even his home is right above his office.”
In related news, Kangta recently appeared as a coach for the popular audition program, ‘Voice Korea‘.

Tony An rocks ’90s fashion for ‘Respond 1997′

Tony An shared a photo of himself dressed in ’90s style fashion.
The singer and CEO of TN Entertainment recently shared the photo above on his official Twitter page with the message, “I filmed a sitcom called ‘Respond 1997‘
today. It was a cameo appearance, and I think it’ll be fun to reminisce
as the story takes place in 1997. I feature in the show as a H.O.T member. Ta da. It’s been a really long time since I’ve worn hip hop pants.”
Tony’s fashion in the photo reminded fans of his good ol’ H.O.T days, and they responded to his photo saying, “Ah, reminds me of the H.O.T days,” “I haven’t seen those pants in a while,” “Looking forward to your cameo,” and more.

DJ Jang Woo Hyuk Brings Down the House in New York City

This past weekend iconic “hammer boy” dance machine and former H.O.T rapper Jang Woo Hyuk hit the stage at The Circle Club
in New York City. Only this time his fancy footwork wasn’t on the menu.
Spinning his beats with ease last Saturday, it was his DJ-ing that tore
up the stage and got the club on its feet.
As if Jang Woo Hyuk wasn’t enough of a mainstay in the Korean Pop industry, last September he debuted as a DJ at Club Mass in Seoul. Impressive, seeing as how he busted onto the scene earlier that same year with his first album in five years, I Am the Future—only
to later team up with Jo Hyun-Ah for the single “Back to the Memories”
and his fourth mini-album of the same name that November. Now that Woo
Hyuk has firmly stepped back into the spotlight, grabbing the headphones
by the horns, he’s decided to kill the club scene at home and in the
states.
Back in March of this year word dropped that Woo Hyuk was interested
in producing a male and female idol group for his agency WH
Entertainment. So naturally he found himself on the West Coast last
weekend holding stateside auditions in Los Angeles, just days after
being in San Francisco. Making good use of his time, Woo Hyuk spent his
weekend nights in L.A. and San Francisco putting his DJ chops to the
test, as he lauded San Fran’s “complete” club atmosphere on Twitter and spun Santa Monica’s Lounge Wokano
into frenzy. The Big Apple was last but not the least, as the
idol-turned-DJ turned it up even more at Club Circle. Explosive dubstep
and a few dashes of oldie but goodie H.O.T hits, Woo Hyuk kept
partygoers moving throughout the night.
